I'm a Mom of 4 great children, married to my best friend Steve and born and raised in Virginia by the best parents ever. Then I spent 20 years in Connecticut, but then the cold was just too much. So I moved to Central Florida and have been here since 2010.
My whole life I have loved being able to express myself whether being a ballet dancer, sketching artwork, learning to play the drums and acoustic guitar, to crocheting. As long as I'm creating, I'm happy. So after friends and family telling me I should sell what I make, here I am.
I went through quite a few years dealing with losing my youngest son Jason Lee. It's not something you ever get over, but you find ways to cope. I'm finally on a ground in my life where I want to accomplish something big and what better way than to do so in his memory. Ladygug Boutique has special meaning. Ladygug isn't a misspelling. My son Jason would try and save the ladybugs in our home when he was about 2 years old and throw them outside. Well, he was so little he would accidentally squoosh the little guys while letting them free out our back door. I opened the door one day and there were about 20 "Ladygugs" as he called them on the steps and he's smiling with all his good intentions and love. After his passing, he has always sent me ladygugs to let me know he's ok and he's watching over us.
Thank you for visiting my store and hopefully you find something you love and I can share my love and passion around the world.
